How Often Do You Need a PCV Medical?

Most professional bus and coach drivers require a medical:
  • When applying for a new PCV licence
  • At 45 years of age
  • Every five years between ages 45 and 65
  • Annually from age 65 onwards
The DVA or DVLA may also request further medical assessments depending on your individual medical circumstances.
