On-site Clinics

On-Site Driver Medical Clinics for Northern Ireland Employers

On-site clinics allow employers to arrange several driver medicals at one workplace on an agreed date. They can reduce travel and administrative time when a workforce has multiple licence renewals or occupational medical requirements.

A Convenient Medical Service for Employers

Arranging individual appointments for several members of staff can be time-consuming. Drivers may need to travel to a clinic, wait for their appointment and then return to work afterwards. For busy companies, this can create unnecessary disruption.

Our on-site medical service helps reduce that disruption by bringing the clinic to you. We attend your business premises, complete the required assessments and help your staff return to work with minimal delay.

Who Is This Service Suitable For?

On-site medicals are ideal for organisations that require several driver or workplace medicals on the same day.

  • HGV and LGV operators
  • Bus and coach companies
  • Taxi operators
  • Airport and airside businesses
  • Fleet operators
  • Distribution and logistics companies
  • Local authorities
  • Public sector organisations

Medicals We Can Provide On-Site

DLM1 Medicals

Medical assessments for bus and lorry drivers in Northern Ireland who require DLM1 medical certification.

PCV Driver Medicals

Medicals for professional bus and coach drivers who need a PCV medical assessment.

Taxi Driver Medicals

Medical assessments for taxi drivers who require licensing medicals.

Airside Medicals

Medical assessments for airport staff, airside drivers and ground operations personnel where required by their employer or airport authority.

What Is Included?

Each medical is carried out by a GMC-registered doctor and may include:

  • Medical history review
  • Blood pressure assessment
  • Vision assessment
  • Urine test where required
  • General health examination
  • Completion of the relevant medical documentation

Minimum Booking Requirement

To provide an efficient and cost-effective on-site service, we require a minimum of six medicals per visit.

This allows us to dedicate appropriate clinical time to your organisation while keeping the service practical and affordable for employers. If your business requires a larger number of staff medicals, we can discuss suitable half-day or full-day clinic options.

What We Need From Your Business

We keep the setup simple. In most cases, we only need:

  • A suitable private room
  • A table and two chairs
  • Access to handwashing facilities
  • A list or schedule of employees attending
  • Any required employer, licensing or medical forms

We provide the clinical equipment needed to complete the assessments.

Benefits of On-Site Medicals

Less Downtime

Employees can remain at work before and after their appointment, reducing unnecessary travel and time away from duties.

Simpler Administration

Instead of arranging several separate appointments, your business can coordinate one workplace medical clinic.

Efficient Appointments

Most medicals take around 20–30 minutes, helping the day run smoothly.

Professional Service

All medicals are carried out by GMC-registered doctors with experience in driver medical assessments.
